As you would be aware, there have been big developments across our world over the past couple of weeks with the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). One significant way that this will be impacting our church is that we will be moving our services online. This is in line with the federal banning of all non-essential gatherings of people over 100 people, and in line with social spacing. Moving online means what happens at a regular service with worship and preaching will be made available on the website at bribiebaptist.com There are other changes expected throughout the next few weeks and we will stay in constant communication with what impact this might have.

Whilst we’re experiencing services online, this is a great opportunity to experience church in a smaller setting with either your family or some friends. Make sure you practice good hygiene and only spend time with others if you are well, but we can meet together in smaller groups and experience community even through this season as a church. If you’re part of a HomeGroup, a few of you might want to get together and be a part of the services together.

The leadership is working together under the guidance of the Baptist Union to make sure that we make safe and caring decisions as we move forward. Please be in contact with any of the elders or deacons if you require any extra support through this time.

NOTE: As of this Sunday we will be live streaming our service at 9am. Please go to www.bribiebaptist.com and click on Livestream service. You will also be able to catch us on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/bribiebaptist/.

Meet - Coffee - Chat
The Church doors will be open SEVEN days a week for anyone that wants to come for coffee, chat, bookshop or prayer. Hazel Benn will be setting up a roster for people to be available have a chat with those who need some prayer and fellowship at the coffee shop.
At this time of global crisis, it is significant to share, comfort each other. Be there for the lonely and isolated in our Church and community. We all have our gifts that can ensure trust and out-reach to one another.

Prayer
We have also committed ourselves to pray at 7:00 am and 7:00 pm for God to work.
Set a reminder on your phone and pray together wherever you are.
Please remember we are here not only to manage our way through this season, but also to grow in our relationship with Jesus, and share the hope that He offers to the world!

Lord be with you
